Hands on Director of QA or QA Manager

Innotas, a leading Project Portfolio Management (PPM) Software as a Service (SaaS) company, has an immediate opening for an experienced Director of Quality Assurance or a QA Manager (depending on experience and qualifications). This key position reports to the Sr. Director of Software Engineering and is responsible for the quality assurance of our SaaS based products. As the leader of QA, you will build and manage our onshore and offshore QA teams. You will be responsible for managing the QA of multiple, concurrent projects while supporting more frequent maintenance releases. You will lead the automation of QA and the creation of standards across QA including test plans, test cases, test beds, and bug reporting processes. Advancement opportunities are available.

Required Skills and Experience

8-15+ years of Quality Assurance experience including a minimum of 3+ years experience as a QA Manager (6+ years required for Director level). You must have experience managing staff in multiple locations (onshore and offshore) is required. You must have experience with large web based products. You must have extensive experience with QA automation, performance testing, test beds, test plans, and Build management. You must have extensive experience managing complex functional testing including performing Impact Analysis. You must have extensive experience with commercial and open source QA tools. Working knowledge of SQL is required. Experience supporting multiple product lines concurrently is required. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is required. Excellent verbal and written skills are required. The ability and desire to learn new skills is required. B.S. in Computer Science or related field or related experience is required.

Preferred Skills and Experience

Experience managing QA solutions for a SaaS/Cloud is strongly preferred. Experience with high-growth companies. Advanced degree is preferred.

Senior Director of Systems & Operations

Innotas, a leading PPM SaaS company, has an immediate opening for an experienced Director of Systems Engineering & Network Operations. Come help us build the infrastructure to support a rapid growth business. Your primary responsibilities will be to: 1) manage the systems engineering and technical operations teams, 2) manage the hosting solutions for our suite of IT Management products, 3) and to manage the company's IT infrastructure. This key position reports to the SVP of Product Development. Advancement opportunities are available.

Required Skills and Experience

10-20+ years of systems engineering and network operations experience is required with 7+ years management experience. You must have managed systems administrators, network engineers, DBAs, and security personnel. You must have managed network operations/IT including Desktop Services, Help Desk, email infrastructure and phone systems. You must have a thorough understanding of data center infrastructure. Experience supporting several product lines concurrently is required. Experience managing staff in multiple locations is required. Excellent verbal and written skills are required. The ability and desire to learn new skills is required. B.S. in Computer Science or related field or related experience is required.

Preferred Skills and Experience

Experience managing hosting solutions for a SaaS/Cloud is strongly preferred. Experience with high-growth companies. Advanced degree is preferred.

Sr. Software Engineers - Open Source Java and Oracle

Innotas, a leading Project Portfolio Management(PPM) Software as a Service(SaaS) company, has immediate openings for experienced, innovative, Senior Software Engineers. These positions will build the next generation of IT Project Portfolio Management Applications utilizing Open Source Java and Oracle technologies. Partnering with other top Engineers, Architects, and Product Managers, you will help define, design, and implement world-class SaaS solutions for our customers. These positions are located in downtown San Francisco one block from Bart. Advancement opportunities are available.

Required Skills and Experience

As a candidate, you must have designed, developed, installed, and supported complicated Open Source Software Applications for 5-8+ years to be qualified for these positions. You must have 5+ years experience with large relational databases including Oracle and/or MySQL. Must have deep Java experience with focus on either Reporting/ETL and/or application frameworks. Your experience should include some of the following: Ajax, Flash, Spring Struts, Hibernate, Scalability, Redundancy, Subversion, JIRA, Hudson, Maven, JUnit, ANT, MVC and Oracle Stored Procedures. You must have experience supporting a live 24 x 7 production environment for internet solutions. You must have expert knowledge of Java Application Servers including Tomcat, WebLogic, JBoss or WebSphere. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Attention to detail must be a personal strength. B.S. in Computer Science is required or equivalent experience. The ideal candidate must be a motivated self-starter that excels when working with a world class product team.

Senior Database Administrator, Technical Director

Innotas, a leading PPM SaaS company, has an immediate opening for an experienced Senior Database Administrator. The Sr. DBA will be responsible for building and maintaining our next generation Database infrastructure utilizing Oracle and open source technologies. Partnering with other top Engineers, and Architects, you will help define, design, and implement world-class SaaS database solutions. The Sr. DBA must excel at being both a "logical/application" DBA and a "physical/production" DBA. The position is located in downtown San Francisco one block from Bart; telecommuting is possible 1-2 days a week. Advancement opportunities are available.

Required Skills and Experience

You must have designed, developed, installed, and supported complicated Oracle database infrastructure for 10+ years to be qualified for this position. You must be an expert with Backups, Recovery, Replication, D/R, and Monitoring. Additionally you must be an expert at database design, SQL tuning, and data modeling. You must have supported the production environment for internet solutions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. B.S. in Computer Science is required or equivalent experience.
