Kevin Kern

President and CEO

Kevin Kern Kevin Kern currently serves as Innotas' President and CEO, leveraging his 20 years of operational experience with high-growth software companies. Prior to being CEO, Kevin was Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing and was instrumental to the continued growth of Innotas by significantly expanding both the account base and company revenues during his tenure.

Prior to joining Innotas, Kevin was at TIBCO Corporation, an infrastructure software company, where he most recently served as vice president of sales for the Western U.S. and Mexico. Prior to TIBCO, he previously served 13 years at Oracle Corporation in several senior sales management roles. Kern was responsible for both application and database sales to the mid-market, as well as, to strategic enterprise accounts in his last position as an area vice president, Oracle Product Industries.

Kevin is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley with a B.A. in Political Science.


Ted Sergott

Senior Vice President, Product Development

Ted Sergott As Senior Vice President of Product Development for Innotas, Ted Sergott is responsible for product development, engineering, systems, and technical operations.

Ted brings more than 25 years of product development experience with a proven ability to deliver enterprise grade software through a SaaS platform. Prior to Innotas, Ted spent the last decade as the head of product development building commercially successful, cloud-based products including eDiscovery for CaseCentral, Benefits Administration for BenefitStreet, Security products for MarkMonitor, and Payment Processing products for PaymentOne. Prior to the SaaS startups, Ted was a Managing Director at Charles Schwab where he built mission critical products including multi-channel CRM, trading, and public offering products.

Ted is a graduate of Saint Mary's College of California with a M.B.A and of Madonna University of Michigan with a B.S. in Computer Science.


Tim Madewell

Vice President, Services

Tim Madwell As Vice President of Services, Tim Madewell is responsible for Account Management, Delivery Services, Support, and Education at Innotas. Prior to joining Innotas, Tim managed Professional Services for the Western Region and Latin America at Mercury (acquired by HP), the global leader in business technology optimization. At Mercury he was responsible for services sales, solution architecture, and delivery management. Prior to Mercury he spent eight years with the Management Consulting practice of Ernst & Young LLP (acquired by Cap Gemini). During his career, Tim has delivered technology and business solutions to Fortune 500 and Global 2000 companies. He has led enterprise system implementations, established and managed off-shore operations, and architected solutions for emerging markets in the energy and telecommunication industries.

Tim holds a B.S. in Finance and Management Information Systems from the University of Arizona. He holds certification with the Information Technology Information Library (ITIL) framework for managing Information Technology services.


Sarb Takhar

CTO

Sarb Takhar As CTO at Innotas, Sarb Takhar is responsible for managing and developing the Innotas product line. Among other accomplishments, he is the primary designer of the product architecture that allows Innotas to constantly introduce new features. Sarb has more than 10 years of experience in software and infrastructure development. Prior to working with Innotas, Sarb spent seven years operating his own consulting firm, managing numerous contracts with large institutions including Computer Sciences Corporation, Anteon Corporation and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, where he was instrumental in the implementation of one of its first online database applications.

Sarb received his B.S. in Computer Science from California State University, Sacramento where he was a member of the only team to place among the Top Ten at the ACM International Programming Contest.


Brendan Thomas

Vice President, Finance

Brendan Thomas As Vice President of Finance for Innotas, Brendan Thomas is responsible for Finance, Accounting and Human Resources. Prior to joining Innotas, Brendan was the Controller, Revenue Accountant and Director of Financial Planning and Analysis for DigitalThink, a leader in e-learning, where he supported the company through several rounds of financing, an IPO, three acquisitions and ultimately an exit transaction.

Brendan holds a B.A. in Accounting and Finance from Dublin City University and a B.S.C. in Financial Information Systems from The University of Dublin, Trinity College. He is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.

Tom Bevilacqua

Managing Partner, Vantage Point

Tom Bevilacqua is a Managing Director at VantagePoint and serves as the co-head of VantagePoint's IT practice group and is a member of the firm's Investment Committee. Tom has more than 25 years of Silicon Valley experience as an executive, venture investor and advisor to technology companies. Previously, he co-founded ArrowPath Venture Partners, an early stage venture capital fund.

Prior to ArrowPath, he was an Executive Vice President at E*TRADE Financial, where he served in a range of operational roles and established E*TRADE's acquisition and investment strategies. He was previously a Partner at two of Silicon Valley's leading law firms and has served as an advisor of more than 200 public or private financings. Currently, Tom sits on the boards of Klipsch Audio Inc, LiveScribe Inc, Innopath, Innotas, Vyatta and WageWorks. Prior investments or board seats include Digital Island (acquired by Cable & Wireless), Critical Path (CPTH), Knight Trading Group (NITE), Immunix (acquired by Novell), MetaLincs (acquired by Seagate), NetSec (acquired by MCI/Verizon) and Persist Technology (acquired by Hewlett-Packard).

Tom graduated with a B.S. from the University of California, Berkeley and received his J.D. from the University of California, San Francisco.


Charles Entrekin

President and CEO of investment companies Katy Creek, Inc. and Cedar Circle, LP; Founder and Director of The Entrekin Foundation; Founder and Managing Director of Hip Pocket Press, (www.hippocketpess.org) a not-for-profit publisher of emerging new voices in American Literature, of CANARY, a magazine devoted to new voices in environmental writing, and SISYPHUS, a magazine devoted to new ideas in American culture.

Charles was a founder and Chairman of the Board for Convoy Corporation, a computer software company, which was sold to New Era Of Networks (Nasdaq: NEON) in June 1999. He was one of the founders of Application Resources, Inc., a computer resources placement agency, which was sold to Worldwide Renaissance in October 1995. Charles was one of the founders of The Application Group, a computer consulting company specializing in PeopleSoft Human Resource implementations (Nasdaq: PFST), which was sold to Automatic Data Processing (NYSE: ADP) in October 1994. Charles received his MFA degree in Creative Writing from the University of Montana; he completed two years of graduate study in Philosophy at Vanderbilt University and the University of Alabama; and he received his BA in English from, Birmingham Southern College, Birmingham, Alabama.


Steven R. King

Steve King is president and CEO of DocuSign. With more than 25 years of leadership experience in the information technology sector, he has demonstrated a wealth of experience and complementary strengths, notably his proven expertise in Sales, Marketing and Financial Leadership and ability to execute in highly competitive environments. Prior to joining DocuSign, King led venture-backed Virtela and ZANTAZ as president and CEO. Under his 7-year leadership, ZANTAZ grew to become the recognized market leader in SaaS content archiving and e-discovery solutions, attaining a 3,435% increase in revenues from 2001 to 2005 and a #6 ranking in the 2006 Software & Information Technology category of the Technology Fast 50 for Silicon Valley. ZANTAZ was later acquired in 2007 by The Autonomy Group.

King has also held a number of executive positions at E*TRADE Financial, Inc., where he played a key role in growing the company from under $100 million to more than $1.5 billion in revenues. He ultimately became CEO of E*OFFERING, the pioneering online investment bank of E*TRADE, acquired by Wit SoundView Group. King has also held senior management positions at Thompson Reuters Corporation and Ziff-Davis.

In 2006, King received the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award, honoring entrepreneurs demonstrating excellence and extraordinary success in innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.


Keith Carlson

Strategic Advisor to the Board

Keith Carlson joined Innotas as CEO in 2006 and was responsible for driving Innotas' rapid growth until June 2010. In June 2010, Keith become Strategic Advisor to the Board.

Prior to joining Innotas, Keith held executive positions at Traiana, an enterprise software company acquired by ICAP; Mercury, the global leader in business technology optimization; Kintana, an IT Governance software company acquired by Mercury; DigitalThink, an on-demand provider of e-learning solutions; and Accenture, a global management consulting firm.

At Kintana, Keith was responsible for Services, Education, Customer Support and Alliances. He engineered the company's value-driven model for IT Governance and helped drive Kintana's profitable revenue growth. As a Partner with Accenture, Keith was responsible for founding Accenture's groundbreaking alliance with Siebel and running Accenture's global Siebel implementation business which included more than 1,000 professionals worldwide.

Keith graduated Magna Cum Laude from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, where he received a B.S. in Industrial Engineering.
